The Guardian Scholars Program (GSP) was created to ensure that youth transitioning from the foster care system have the help, resources, and support services they need to succeed at Chabot College.

Our goal is to increase the number of students that successfully graduate and/or transfer from Chabot College.

Eligibility

Must be enrolled or in the process of enrolling at Chabot College.

1. Current/ former Foster youth, or
2. Ward of the court, or
3. Kinship care placed youth.

Provide ward of court letter. Students can:

1. Ask current social worker.
2. Complete the online Californian Foster Care Verification Request Form
3. If you need help, visit or call our office.
