CSU TRANSFER RESOURCES

  • Meet with your Chabot Counselor to develop a SEP that:
    • Incorporates your transfer goals, which should include:
      • Multiple potential CSU campuses and other institutions
      • Intended university Major and required coursework
    • Refine your SEP as your narrow your list of universities and major.
  • Your Goal: Know which semester is your last semester/term at Chabot College in order to follow Step 4 below.
  • Update your transfer planner(s) every semester.
  • Keep your CSU Transfer Planner current with most recent grades, in-progress, and planned courses from all colleges attended, including AP scores.
  • An accurate and complete transfer planner will faciliate you receiving relevant and timely reminders, action items, and announcements related to your transfer timeline.
  • California Community College transfer applicants that meet the CSU minimum admission eligibility, are awarded an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT/AA-T & AS-T), and apply to a program that has been deemed similar at the CSU are given priority admission consideration to impacted campus or programs and are guaranteed admission to a CSU campus.

  • The ADT eVerify site is an online portal that allows community colleges to access the roster of CSU applicants who have indicated they are pursuing an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) and verify the status of ADT degrees for students directly with CSU campuses.

  • Chabot College students submit the Chabot College Degree Request form shortly after submitting your CalStateApply application to initiate ADT eVerification:

    • Fall 2026 applicants: Submit your degree request beginning December 1, 2025.
    • Spring 2027 applicants: Submit your degree request beginning September 1, 2026.
