Transfer Application Series

Applying to transfer to a university is often more than just completing a form. It is a package of materials that you submit to support your candidacy for their program. 

The application cycle can take as short as two weeks to as long as one year. It is a process that may require the reporting of your academic history, admissions essay, portfolio or supplemental application to specific programs and departments.

In addition, you are likely finding yourself applying for financial aid, scholarships, on-campus housing, etc.. 

This series walks you through and supports you through the transfer application cycle. View offerings below:

Topics

Drop-in with Transfer Counselor (will be Ms. Reena) for assistance with your transfer admission applications and transition to the university.

These sessions will primarily focus on Spring 2023 transfer applications and getting ready for Fall 2023 transfer to the university.

Financial Aid and Transfer Students

What we'll cover:

  • Considerations for transfer students as it relates to financial aid
  • Cost/aid differences between the community college and university,
  • What to expect with regard to university financial aid award and your transition to the university.
  • Referrals to our own and the university financial aid resources and services
  • Bring your questions!

  • Considerations when deciding on where to attend
