Mental Health Services

Chosen Name FAQ
The Chabot-Las Positas Community College District recognizes that some students may use first names other than their legal names to identify themselves. Thus, Chabot College students may use a chosen first name on class rosters and schedules and in certain online systems including Canvas, CLASS-Web, DegreeWorks, and SARS. All-Gender Restrooms on Campus
Locations of all-gender restrooms on campus:
- Building 700 – Located on the first floor across the hallway from the Assessment Center (room 714)
- Building 1100 – Located next to office 1100 and 1102
- Building 1500 – Located outside next to the front entry doors
- Building 2300 – Located on the second floor next to the Veterans Center (room 2353)
- Building 2400 – Located inside ACE (Accessibility Center for Education)
ChabOUT List
The ChabOUT List was created to offer additional support to Chabot College LGBTQ+ students as well as to aid in bringing visibility to LGBTQ+ identified employees across our campus community. This list is publicly posted for students, other employees, and the general community to have an access point of contact.
