In the Fall of 2003, Chabot-Las Positas Community College District began assigning students a "W" ID as an alternative to their old user identification number (usually your Social Security number). You will need this W number to login to Blackboard. To find out your new user identification number, Sign On to CLASS-Web using your current identification number (usually your Social Security number) and PIN, and click the "What's My New User ID?" link.
If you are not (or not yet) a Chabot student or for any other reason you do not have a W ID, and you just have a question, you can just enter "W12345678" in the W field, but make sure you let us know you are doing this in the "Other questions.." text box and the end of the Help Request form.
