International Student Program
Student Housing
The College does not supply housing accommodations; we do not have
dormitories. A listing of possible living accommodations for students in
the nearby communities may be obtained in the Office of Student Life. The
college, however, assumes no legal responsibility for providing or supervising
off-campus housing facilities for students. Rooms for rent are posted on the
Housing Resource Board, located across from the ASCC Office on the 2nd floor of
Building 2300. The College does not provide housing for students but does offer
information and referral to agencies for emergency housing and rental rights. To
list a rental, visit or contact
Office of Student
Life (OSL.)
Other Resources
International students usually rent a furnished room in a home nearby or rent
an apartment, either alone or shared with other International Students. Rent
charges vary according to location, size of apartment and facilities in the
complex. One bedroom apartments may cost $900 to $1200 per month and the rent of
a furnished room (room and board) ranges between $600 and $900 per month. This
price usually covers all utilities and kitchen privileges. There is usually a
separate telephone line in the room, and students will be responsible for the
payment. Students will be responsible for their own personal matters, such as
cooking, laundry, etc.

the first few nights in a local hotel or motel, ranging in price per night from
$75.00 to $110.00.It will be necessary for the student to make
