Getting into Databases Through Blackboard 

The Library has heard from students using Blackboard that they are having trouble getting into our databases.  The Library has concluded that the problem comes from getting into the database while they are still accessing pages through the Blackboard server. 

If you have accessed a page from the Library from your Blackboard course website, we strongly recommend that you open up our pages in a new window or tab.  You can do this by moving your cursor over the link to the Library web page or to a database such as EbscoHost, and then right clicking with your mouse.  Then select from the options "Open Link in New Window" or "Open Link in New Tab."

The Library web page will open up without the Blackboard navigation menu.  You will then have no problem getting into our databases.  If you are off campus, go to Off Campus Access
