The Password Free "Hot Spots"
Password free publicly accessible wireless is available in certain buildings on campus including the Library, the Cafeteria (Building 2300), and other areas on campus (see map below). Connect your portable to CC-Public.
The Library is a "Hot Spot" on campus with password-free public wireless.
If you need to charge your portable, limited outlets are available in the main hallway of the Library, in the mezannine on the right side of the audio-visual center, the study rooms, the Quiet Study Area (room 121), and a few columns in the reference reading room. See a reference librarian for more information.
To access Library databases through the wireless you would log into them as if you were off campus.
Shaded in green, below are the most currently reported areas where wireless is available through the Chabot Campus. Some areas may contain password protected networks only. For the password free network, remember to look for CC-Public. Click on the map below to see an enlargment.
