Congratulations to those students that have been selected for the nursing program beginning in August 2008. Selection, alternate, and eligible but not selected letters were mailed week of April 7. If you have not received any correspondence from admission and records please email us at nurse@chabotcollege.edu, include your student ID number for accurate response. May 5, 2008 is the deadline for the original 60 students to accept their position in the class. We will begin notifying alternates after that date.
Orientation
Incoming students are required to attend two mandatory orientations. Select July 15 OR July 22 and July 30th is a mandatory orientation for the entire class both Chabot and Extended Campus students. Student packets will be distributed after each TEAS test on May 20th and May 30th. Calendar
Program information will be distributed after the taking and passing the TEAS examination. If you have already taken and passed the test packets will be mailed after May 30, 2008. Forms will be posted to this website after that time to make the process easier.
All incoming students must take and pass the Test of Essential Academic Skills with an Individual Adjusted Score of 67%. We are offering a two test dates; May 20th and May 30th, Room 3906 on the Chabot Campus. Flyer If you have already taken the TEAS (after 08/21/2007) and scored 67% or higher please request an official copy from ATI testing. Go to www.atitesting.com to order. The first 30 alternates are also requested to take the test. Any alternate that does not take the test or send an official copy of their test will be automatically dropped from the alternate listing.
