Foreign Trained Registered Nurses

This program has been suspended for Fall 2012 - Fall 2013. In the future: Chabot College will be offering obstetrics and pediatric (Fall semester only) and mental health / psychological (Spring semester only), coursework for foreign trained nurses. To be eligible for this program, you must have:

Written verification of RN Nursing licensure from your country
A letter from the BRN (Board of Registered Nursing, California) identifying coursework needed for NCLEX-RN exam eligibility
Proof of authorization to work in the United States
ESL level of high to advanced.
Taken and passed TEAS Version V with 62% Adjusted Individual Score

If you are interested please fax (510.723.7298) or mail a copy of your letter from the Board of Registered Nursing to the Nursing Program office: 25555 Hesperian Blvd. Room 2273, Hayward, CA 94545. Please provide a current address, phone number and email address. The nursing director will review and send you a letter outlining steps for program admission within 4-6 weeks.
