Nursing - LVN to RN

* Physiology 1 and Microbiology  must be completed before enrolling Nursing 70.

Prerequisites for admission to the program include:

  1. completion of special application;
  2. validation of previous nursing knowledge is required for counseling/assessment purposes.

ADVANCE STANDING IN SECOND YEAR CURRICULUM


Advanced standing status in the second year nursing curriculum is granted to students who have previously completed any portion of the defined Nursing curriculum, or its equivalent. Contact the Nursing Program Office (510) 723-6896 for information.  It is also necessary to contact a counselor for evaluation of general education requirements, (510) 723-6718.
