Prior to admission to the clinical sequence, you must pass tests to validate clinical practice skills.
The Clinical Performance Exam includes 3 parts:

• Testing for parts a) and b) is scheduled with the Skills Laboratory Clinical Coordinator, Room 3116, or call (510) 723-6953.
• Testing for part c) will be coordinated through a designated nursing faculty member.
• A guide for the "Clinical Performance Examination" is available from the Skills Laboratory Clinical Assistant in Room 3116.
The non-refundable fee for this exam is payable by cashier's check or money order prior to testing to the Nursing Program Administrative Assistant, Room 2203. A cancellation fee will be charged if the student reschedules the examination.
Upon successful completion of the Clinical Performance Examination, you will be eligible to proceed with clinical course work on a space available basis via the options described.
