The Chabot Photo Lab is open M-Th, days and evenings, on a drop-in basis, with a faculty member always on duty to assist students. Our Black and White communal darkroom is equipped with 21 enlargers, accommodating negatives from 35mm to 4x5. Our Color Darkroom has 9 individual printing rooms equipped with Chromega D enlargers, accommodating negatives from 35mm to 4x5, and a 20 inch Colex print processor. Our Finishing Room is equipped with mount presses, matt cutters and a negative viewing area. Our Lighting Studio is equipped with hot lights and studio flash. Our Digital Lab is equipped with scanners, printers, and 20 Macintosh work stations.
