Most courses do not qualify for every articulation type.
- Elective: Courses applied towards unit requirements
- Transfer General Education (GE)
- Department: articulation agreements between two colleges

- C-ID (Course Identification Numbering System): Common course identifiers for many community
college courses (CSU only)
