Minutes for Meeting: December 1, 2009

(Attendees: Ramona Silver(chair), Bob Buell, Desmond Chun, Tom Clark, Richard Dinwiddie, Mary Dermody, Aldrian Estepa, Julian Prentice, Lani Wilson, Jan Novak, Michael, Langdon, Randi Ray, Lisa Ulibarri & Minta Winsor.)

1). The Chair informed the Committee that the Review Teams for Greg Fernandez and Linda Rhodes approved both of their demos. The committee discussed the need for Professor Fernandez to have a mentor. The Chair stated that she would find an appropriate mentor for Professor Fernandez.

2). Proposal Form Addendum: The committee discussed whether we need an addendum--to clarify the definition of "Contact Hours" and a link to examples for our Spring 2010 Proposal Forms. The Chair presented the committee with possible ideas for an addendum/link to be placed on the form itself. The committee determined that we should try to have this ready by the beginning of the Spring 2010 semester.

3). Each Committee member made suggestions for goals and Ideas for Spring 2010! The chair compiled a list of these goals and she sent it to each committee member.
