Early Decision Program

Steps At-A-Glance

Step 1: Submit an online Application for Admission

High school seniors must have completed Chabot's online application for admission in order to participate in the Early Decision program. The Summer/Fall 2008 Early Decision application deadline is Monday, March 16, 2009.

Step 2: Complete English & Math Assessments

To continue in the Early Decision program, students must participate in scheduled English and Math assessments.

Step 3: Complete Online Orientation

Online orientation will be available for Early Decision students after completing assessment to prepare for the program planning and registration, which will take place during MEGA Day. The online orientation must be completed by Friday, May 1, 2009.

Step 4: Participate in Early Decision MEGA Day

Chabot College's Early Decision Mega Event will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Chabot College. Counselors, Admissions & Records and Orientation staff will be available to assist students with the matriculation steps. Tours of the campus and financial aid workshops will be available for students. Registration for Summer/Fall courses will also take place.

Step 5: Get a Student ID Card

Once registered into classes, students are eligible for a Chabot College student ID card. Registered students are required to carry valid student identification on campus. The student ID card is used for various services on campus and to obtain student discounts.

Step 6: Prepare for the first day of classes!
