See below for the current schedule. Register once for all sessions and you will receive an email with the topic of the week. All sessions will be offered via zoom with option for hyflex on campus.
Join Ms. Frances Fon, Chabot College Transfer Center Counselor, for a time together on the topic of university costs and financial aid and receive referrals for support with our own and the university financial aid offices.
What we'll cover:
- Considerations for transfer students as it relates to financial aid
- Cost/aid differences between the community college and university
- Learn how to research costs and use net price calculator tools
- What to expect with regard to university financial aid award and your transition to the university.
- Referrals to our own and the university financial aid resources and services

- Overview of the UC Transfer Admission Planner and its uses and benefits
- How to read and monitor your UC-TAP for a future UC Transfer Admission Application and/or Guarantee

- Overview of the different UC Transfer Admission Guarantee programs and requirements
- Look at a sample UC Transfer Admission Planner together and see how we are setting ourselves up to TAG to UC.
