I am from the Bay Area and have been a registered nurse over 20 years. I have been teaching since 2003. My nursing focus is maternal, newborn and women's health. Specific interests to me include high-risk labor and delivery and reducing racial disparities in maternal health. I have always had a passion for teaching and love to bring students into my world of nursing. In my spare time I love spending time with my 2 Labradors , outdoors/nature, and following local sports teams.
