Get Ready... Before you continue check the requirements below. If you have any problems, ask one of the librarians at (510)723-7006.
1. Browser You'll need at least Internet Explorer 4.0, FireFox 1.0, SeaMonkey, or Netscape 4.0 to use Searchpath. Mac users: Safari will work with all features except the scoring of quizzes. If you need to give your instructor quiz results directly from this tutorial, use another browser. 2. Plug-ins To experience all the effects, you'll need the Shockwave Flash plug-in, a free application that enhances your browser and makes this site interactive. If you can see the animation below

you already have the plug-in. If you can't see anything, go to the Macromedia Flash Player Download Center and follow their downloading directions. Or, you can click on "Non-Flash Version", whenever you get to a Flash page (Note: At present time, most non-flash versions are still in development. So be sure to download Flash, and allow extra time if you have a slow online connection). You will also definitely need Java. Free Java Download A media player (such as Real or Windows Media) is also recommended (though not necessary).
