The RN Refresher Program is working closely with JVS to also offer this class to nurses who were trained abroad and are facing barriers to employment in the U.S. It is funded by the Gold Foundation and by the Bay Area Workforce Funding Collaborative. East Bay funders and stakeholders recognize that overseas-trained nurses face many barriers to finding employment upon arrival to the U.S. Therefore, priority will be given to foreign-trained nurses who live in the East Bay. However, U.S. re-entry nurses will also be considered if there are spots available. A separate JVS Application must be completed by everyone.
