How to Login to Blackboard

Go to the login page
http://clpccd.blackboard.com. Add this address to your Favorites
or Bookmark it, otherwise you may end up having to login twice each
time if you save any other page.
Username:
Your User Identification Number, which is a unique number
beginning with W and containing 8 digits.
Password: the first two letters of your first name, followed by the
first two letters of your last name (all lowercase), followed by the last four
digits of your User Identification Number.
For example, Maria Valdez with a User Identification Number of W12345678
would log in as:
- Username: W12345678
- Password: mava5678 (all lowercase letters + last four digits)
Click Login. You may see the following Security Alert:
Click Yes. You should now be in Blackboard.

ALL STUDENTS: In order to receive email from your instructors, you must
determine which email account you want to use for Blackboard. The default email
address posted in Blackboard is zonemail. Students will automatically receive school emails
through their Zonemail account unless changed to a
personal account.
You can choose between one of the following:

(OPTIONAL: Change your password)
- OPTIONAL: Click Change
Password.
- Enter your own unique password in both password fields.
- Click Submit at the bottom. At the next two screens, click OK.
If you forget your password, click on Forgot Password or
request a password
re-set from the Help Desk.
You should be at the "My Institution" page (if youre not sure if youre at
this page, click the My Institution tab at the top left). Look to the far
right under My Courses and click on a course link to enter a course site. Once
in each course site, click on each menu item (button) to become familiar with
the contents posted by your instructor.
You are now ready to begin your course!
