New Zonemail and Blackboard
How to get started - Setup your email address for BlackboardALL STUDENTS: In order to receive email from your instructors, you must determine which email account you want to use for Blackboard. The default email address posted in Blackboard is zonemail. Students will automatically receive school emails through their Zonemail account unless changed to a personal account. You can choose between one of the following:

Forwarding your email (optional)If you want to use your personal Gmail, Yahoo, Comcast, etc. account, you will have to log into The Zone and set up your college email account so it automatically forwards all emails to your personal account. Automatic forwarding will not delete your Gmail message; it just duplicates it to your personal account.
Changing your password (optional)If you want to change your password, click Settings, then Accounts, then Change Password. How to Access Blackboard through The Zone (optional)One purpose of The Zone is to create a "one-stop" location for you to login and access multiple systems (CLASS-Web, Blackboard, Financial Aid, Library, etc.) of the College, reducing the multiple times required for you to login.
Login to Blackboard directlyYou can bypass The Zone to log into Blackboard directly by going to http://clpccd.blackboard.com or by going to the college web site and following the links to the Blackboard login page. If you’ve used Blackboard previously, your login information will still work. If you are new to Blackboard, use the login format above, then change your password in Blackboard by clicking Personal Information on your My Institution page, then click Change Password. Enter a new password, verify it, and click Submit. Frequently Asked QuestionsCan I change the zonemail address to another email address?Yes! In addition to the option of forwarding your zonemail messages to an account of your choice, you can now update your email address within Class-Web. Just follow these steps: 1) Login to Class-Web 2) Select "What is my email address?" 3) Select "Update Email Address" 4) Under "Type of E-mail to Insert" select "Email for Blackboard" and press "Submit" 5) Enter the email address in the field next to "E-mail" and press "Submit" **Students will automatically receive Blackboard emails through their zonemail account unless changed to a personal account.
