Welcome to Chabot College!
It's easier than you think to register for classes! Whether you want to update your skills, earn a degree, or transfer to a four-year college, Chabot College is a great place to start. Anyone who is a high school graduate or over the age of 18 can attend. And if you need any help along the way with counseling, tutoring, or financial aid, we have many services to help you register.
Apply online or fill out the application form in the Chabot College Schedule of Classes and mail it to the address shown or deliver it to the Office of Admissions & Records Building 100 on campus (or pick up an application form there). For more information, call the Office of Admissions & Records at (510) 723-6700.
Money does not have to be a problem! Financial aid can help pay for your tuition, books, transportation, and other educational costs. Go to the Financial Aid web site for more information. If you need further help, you can call the Financial Aid Office at (510) 723-6746.
The assessment center is located in building 1800, room 1840. Please visit www.chabotcollege.edu/counseling/assessment for schedule information and study guides. If you do not have access to a computer, you are welcome to use the computers in Student Online Services in Building 100 on campus. When you have completed your assessments, you will receive a matriculation passport with next step information about the online orientation and group counseling appointment.
Once you have scheduled an appointment through the online orientation, you will attend a group counseling session. At this time you will have the opportunity to meet with a counselor in a small group setting to plan your first semester of classes.
Now you are ready to choose your classes from the hundreds that Chabot College has to offer. You can register online or in person at the Office of Admissions & Records in Building 100.
We look forward to seeing you on campus!
