Only registered Chabot students who are currently enrolled in 12 units
are eligible to apply for EOPS.
In order to register in Chabot College,
students must fill out a Chabot registration form available here

Due to drastic budget cuts that categorical
programs have experienced within the last two years, EOPS must limit the number of students in our
program. In order to provide a fair process to all students interested in our
program we have implemented a lottery system to admit new students to EOPS. We
hope this situation is temporary and we truly apologize for this inconvenience.
If you are a full time student and have not completed more than 50 units and you qualify for the BOG fee waiver we invite you to
enter our lottery for one of the spots that may (approx 80) be available
at the beginning of each semester. Please read the Lottery procedure:

Students may sign up for the waiting list/lottery starting the
first day of school.

Students will come to the EOPS office and fill out an
"EOPS Waiting List/Lottery Form".

Students will turn in the form to EOPS staff member.

The lottery will take place the second week of school

Students selected in the lottery will be contacted within three
days after the lottery to pick up and return application to the EOPS
office.

Students must return EOPS application three days after it has been
received.
- After EOPS verifies eligibility, student must attend an
EOPS orientation.
EOPS WILL ACCEPT NAMES FOR THE LOTTERY
STARTING THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Every semester EOPS will hold a lottery so if your name was
not selected the first time then come back next semester.
