SPECIAL PROGRAMS
- CARE: Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) is a unique educational program which represents a cooperative effort between the community college system, Department of Social Services, and community organizations to assist single parents achieve their educational goals. CARE offers counseling, personal development classes, support groups, and potential child care assistance to EOPS single parents who are TANF recipients, with at least one child under the age of fourteen years old.
- Summer Readiness Program: Summer readiness is a summer program designed to assist first-time college students who plan to attend Chabot in the Fall. The program consists of up to eight weeks of academic preparation and college orientation, while students become acquainted with the campus and its resources.
