Student Grievance External Agencies
Most complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters are resolved at the college/district. Individuals are strongly encouraged to make every attempt to resolve matters through appropriate processes outlined in the policies. Matters that are not resolved at the college/district level may be processed by using the following agencies:
- Contact the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) if your complaint is associated with the institution’s compliance with academic program
quality and accrediting standards.
- If your complaint does not concern Chabot College’s compliance with accrediting standards, you may contact the California Community College Chancellor’s Office by completing the online web form.
