| 1. Open the "images" Folder in Your Website In
MS Frontpage |

In MS Frontpage, double-click on the "images" folder as shown below to
open the "images" folder. You may see a list of existing images in that
folder.

| 2. Find Your Image on Your Computer |
| Open Windows Explorer and locate the image you'd like to put on your
website. In this example, I'm located my picture with the file name
me.jpg on my Desktop.

| 3. Upload Image |
| With both MS Frontpage window and Windows Explorer window open
side-by-side, drag the image you want to upload from Windows Explorer
(your computer) to MS Frontpage (the web server) in the images folder as
shown below.

| 4. Open Destination Web Page |
| In MS Frontpage, open the page in which you'd like to place your
image. In this example, I've opened the "Contact Us" page where I'm
going to place a picture of me. Place your cursor at the point where you
want the image to be placed.

| 5. Place Image in Web Page |
| Click Insert > Picture > From File. You will be presented with a
Picture box with a list of images that are in the "images" folder in
your website that you have uploaded. Select the image you want to place
in your web page. In this case, I'm going to select the picture of me.
Then click on the "Insert" button.

| 6. Border the Image (optional) |
| I don't know about you but I like to put borders around my pictures.
To do this, right click on the image and select "Picture Properties".
You will then see a "Picture Properties" box as shown below. Change the
border thickness to 1 and hit OK.

| 7. Alternate Text (Required) |
| Right click on the image and select "Picture Properties". You will
then see a "Picture Properties" box as shown below. Click on the
"General" tab and check the check box Then type in a description
of the image. In this example, since the picture is of me (Chabot's
webmaster), I entered "Picture of Abdullah Yahya". This is so that
screen readers can describe what an image is for the visually-impaired.
This is one of many requirements to making an accessible website and is
required for all educational institutions.

| 8. Save Your Changes / Upload to The Web |
| Click File > Save to save your changes.

If you're editing your files directly on web, your changes are
instantly shown online.
If you're editing your files locally, you'll need to upload your
files to the web for the public to see the changes.
