Creating a New Page
Adding a New Page
The easiest way to create a new page is to copy an existing page and save as
a new page, then modify the content in the new page. This will allow you to keep
the header, footer and other necessary code intact. Follow these simple instructions to learn how to
create a new page in your website using MS Frontpage 2003.
| 1. Copy an Existing Page |
| In MS Frontpage 2003, select a web page file you'd like to use for a
new page. Normally you'd just copy a page that had the least content. In
this example, I'm going to select the Contact Us page called
contactus.asp.
 |
| 2. Copy and Paste the Page |
| Copy the page you selected (Ctrl+C) and the paste it (Ctrl+V) to
make a copy. The name of the copied page changes automatically. In this
case, it's contactus_copy(1).asp. Rename the page to something
descriptive of the content of the page. In this example, I'm going to
create a photo gallery page so I'll call my new page "photogallery.asp".
You can rename the file name by selecting it, right clicking and
selecting "Rename".
 |
| 3. Delete Old Content |
Now open the new page and delete the old content and enter in new
content.
|
| 4. Save Your Changes / Upload to The Web |
| Click File > Save to save your changes.

If you're editing your files directly on web, your changes are
instantly shown online.
If you're editing your files locally, you'll need to upload your
files to the web for the public to see the changes.
