Dual Enrollment Summer Academy

New Students: Create an account on CCCApply and apply to the semester

• Apply to Chabot College on CCCApply

• Click “Create an Account.”

• Account creation is permanent. Please use a personal email or phone number.

• Apply to Chabot College for the term you plan to enroll in CCAP-DE classes.

• Complete the application. Screenshot the confirmation page with both confirmation number and CCCID. Please email the screenshot to your site lead and cc-earlycollege@chabotcollege.edu. 

• You will receive a welcome email with your Student ID (W#) after 24 to 48 hours. 

Returning Students: Sign in CCCApply and apply for semester

• Click blue “Sign In” button at CCCApply.

• If you forgot your password, please select “Forgot your password?” and follow the steps on the screen to recover your account. 

• If you lost access to the email or if you have any difficulties recovering your password, please call the help desk (877) 247-4836 to recover your account. 

• Under “My Applications,” click the blue “Start a New Application” button.

• Select the term you plan to take a CCAP-DE class.

• Complete the application. Screenshot the confirmation page with both confirmation number and CCCID. Please email the screenshot to your site lead and cc-earlycollege@chabotcollege.edu. 

 

New Students: Create a DualEnroll.com Account

• Create account at chabotcollege.dualenroll.com

• Click on “Create My DualEnroll Account”

• Select your high school from the drop-down menu.

• If your high school is not listed, select “Other – School Not Listed”

• All sections with a * symbol are required.

• Fill out all sections under “Application Steps”

• Use Personal email and Phone Number

• After “High School” Step and completing profile, see “STEP 4” (NOTE: Do Not Do Step 4 until Summer Academy courses are ready)

Returning Summer Academy 2025 or CCAP Students: Log into DualEnroll.com Account

• Log in to account at chabotcollege.dualenroll.com

• Enter username and password

• You can use Forgot username or password link if needed.

Submit Request for Summer Academy Courses with either Method 1 or 2:
 
Method 1: Find Specific Summer Academy course by Course Registration Number (CRN) 

• In DualEnroll.com, use “Narrow your Search” menu. 

• Filter “By Term” and change to Summer 2026 

• In “By Section Number” type the CRN of the course you are looking for 

• CRNs can be found on this webpage under “Summer Academy 2026 List of Classes” 

• Only the course associated with the CRN will be listed. Select the course you want by clicking on Name of Course (under title)  

• Make sure it is the correct Course Registration Number, Instructor, Location, and Day/Time. If it is correct, click on “Submit Request”. 
  
  

Method 2: Choose from List of Summer Academy courses 

• In DualEnroll.com, use “Narrow your Search” menu. 

• Filter “By Term” and change to Summer 2026 

• Filter “By Program” and Select Summer Academy 2026 

• Summer Academy 2026 course options will be listed.  

• Select the Summer Academy course you would like and click on Name of Course (under title)  

• Make sure it is the correct Course Registration Number, Instructor, Location, and Day/Time. If it is correct, click on “Submit Request”.  

• Make sure to remind your parent or guardian to check their email and/or text to sign off.  

• Once you are approved by your parent/guardian AND counselor, Chabot College will review your application.  

• If approved, Chabot will register you into your requested CCAP course(s)  

• You will receive a message via email or text when you have been approved and registered. 

• Note: You may be contacted by Chabot ECP or Admissions staff if any additional steps or forms are needed. These need to be completed before Chabot can register you. 

 

Course Description : Introduction to the art of digital video editing using industry standard software. Students explore the theory and practice of various editing styles in order to gain a better understanding of how stories are constructed in the editing room.
