UPDATE FROM THE CHABOT COLLEGE PAC (as of 6/11/2021)

Effective immediately, Alameda County has moved into the Yellow Tier. At this time, the Chabot College PAC has revised our health and safety protocols to align with the State and County's guidelines for this tier. Currently, we are still holding events under the Phase II protocols of our three-phase re-opening plan. We will provide updates as our restrictions lessen.

Phase II allows us to offer clients the ability to stream both live and pre-recorded events with small groups of performers (20 or fewer and with restrictions). We are able to accommodate patrons in the seating area (with a capacity limit of 200 people - socially distanced). We will also provide clients with the ability to collect revenue through the new Chabot College ticketing platform.

Phase II features automatic social distancing through the new ticketing platform and will be a hybrid that allows limited in-person attendance combined with streaming events.

Phase III will be our transition from hybrid events to full-service events.

The transition to these phases will depend on State, County, and District guidelines.

As Alameda County progresses through the tiers, the capacity of our audience (which will remain socially distanced), will be affected per tier in the following ways:

  • Red Tier: 25% audience capacity/100 people maximum
  • Orange Tier: 50% audience capacity/200 people maximum
  • Yellow Tier: 50% audience capacity

We anticipate being in the Yellow Tier by July 1, 2021. Because of this, we are generating estimates and contracts under our regular protocols.

Those who would like to hold an event at the PAC who are coming from 150 or more miles away will need to provide results of a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours prior to their first day in the PAC.

We are currently accepting requests for performance opportunities within these parameters on a case by case basis, as well as all requests for event dates between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022.
