University of California (UC) Transfer
There are 9 UC campuses which offers undergraduate degrees: Davis, Berkeley, Santa Cruz, Merced, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Irvine, Riverside, and San Diego. (The San Francisco campus offers professional and graduate degrees.)
The UC system has over 750 majors and over 150 disciplines. California community college students are given first priority over other transfer applicants. Nearly 1 in 3 UC students start at a community college before graduating from a UC campus.

-
The UC Transfer Admission Planner (UC TAP) is your tool to plan for transfer and seek the transfer admission guarantee to a participating UC campus.
-
The planner:
-
Helps you plan and track coursework (completed, in-progress, and planned).
-
Is linked to assist.org so it counts up your UC-transferable units and UC-transferable gpa, which is unavailable in MyPortal and DegreeWorks.
-
Allows UC transfer admissions representatives and Chabot counselors to provide general and major specific feedback before TAG and/or UC Application periods. (This is a great perk so you can ensure you are submitting the fullest and most accurate records for admission and TAG consideration.)
-
The UC TAP is what you submit to seek your UC Transfer Admission Guarantee.
- The UC TAP is what you import into your UC application so you do not have to reenter your coursework from all colleges attended in the application.
- Use your UC TAP at: uctap.universityofcalifornia.edu
