Readiness Questions
Click on a link below to self-assess your readiness for that course by working through the questions presented. Solutions are provided at the end of the questions.
There is no fixed number of correct answers as a cutoff to certify that you are ready for the course, since we don’t know whether you miss a question because you don’t understand the concept or simply made a careless mistake. What you should be thinking in this self-assessment process is: Would I be able to understand these topics by dedicating study time and using free tutoring services at Chabot, so that the skills in these questions do not hold me back while I take the course? If you can confidently answer YES, then you may request a self-placement override into that course from a counselor if you are currently placed below it.
