Computer Classroom Areas

    The WRAC Center offers two computer classroom areas with more than 50 PC computers available to classes as part of their regular writing instruction. Classes can access the Internet, use word processing, or work on  keyboarding skills.

Available programs include:

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, FrontPage), Internet Explorer, Southwestern Keyboarding, and Acrobat Reader.

   Classes utilize Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) for Blackboard, writing workshops, drafting, research, and other needs.  Instructors should contact the WRAC Center Staff to request to be added to the computer lab schedule.  Due to the high demand for computer lab time, not all requests can be accommodated.  Classes currently scheduled in the computer lab are listed in the WRAC Center. 

    Due to the high volume of printing needs, the WRAC Center computer labs and Library have implemented the GoPrint pay-per-print system. Printing will cost 10 cents per page and require that a GoPrint card be purchased in the Library.  The card will cost $1.00 and come with 50 cents for printing.  More value can then be added to the card.  Please ask a staff person if you have any questions.
