NOTE: The STEM Center will be open 9AM-6PM on December 14th and 15th. The STEM Center will be closed on December 16th and will remain closed until Spring Semester 2023 starts.

IF YOU NEED TO RETURN A CALCULATOR! Someone will be in the STEM Center on Friday, December 16th (9AM-4PM) collecting calculators. If they're not in the STEM Center, there will be a sign directing you where to go to drop off your calculator. 

You can also return your calculator to the STEM Center Monday, December 19th or Tuesday, December 20th between 9AM and 5PM. If none of those days/times work for you, please email mlove@chabotcollege.edu to arrange another pickup time.

The STEM Center supports the Chabot community by providing personnel, resources, and programming to support all students through their STEM pathway, while also retaining and recruiting STEM majors, and maintaining a STEM centric community.

Overview

The STEM Center is a great place to study, do your homework and ask questions about problems or concepts in Math, Statistics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics and the Life Sciences.  STEM is in everything and every student is welcome.

  • Tutoring (Subject areas may vary by instructor, instructional assistants and tutors.)
    • An instructor and instructional assistants are on hand at all open hours to help students.
    • Student tutors are available during most open hours to help students.
  • Full service computer lab
    • MATLAB on 22 of our computers
    • SolidWorks on 10 of our computers
    • Autodesk Inventor on 20 of our computers
    • Code::Blocks on all of our computers
