Once your ballot is filled out, you can return it to be counted in a few different ways:

  • Drop it in any USPS mailbox by Tuesday, November 8th (no stamps needed - the envelope is pre-paid). Must be postmarked by Tuesday November 8th.
  • Drop it in a Ballot Drop Box.  Ballots dropped off at a ballot drop box will be picked up daily by Alameda County Vote staff (the people who actually count the ballots)!  Ballot Drop Boxes are a very secure way to mail in your ballot!  The ballot drop boxes are now open and will be closed at 8pm sharp on Tuesday, November 8th. See ballot drop box locations.

There is a ballot drop box at Chabballot boxot College by the flagpole near building 200. See Google map.

  • Drop it off in person at ANY of the Alameda County in-person Early Voting Sites (also called "Accessible Voting Locations") if you are registered to vote in Alameda County.
