The OAC and the Office of Academic Services approved the following policies for service areas:

  1. A minimum of two Service Area Outcomes are required by each Service Area.
  2. Service Area Outcomes should be assessed at least once every 5 years
  3. Service Area Outcomes and Assessment results must be publicized in an accessible location (such as the Course Catalog, Program Review App or the Service Area’s websites).

The SAOs for DSPS: ACE are:

  1. Ensure excellent and equitable student access to accommodation services, to support student persistence towards equitable educational goal attainment.

  2. Promote student and staff awareness about accommodation services, through multiple modes of outreach and inreach, to increase the number of students that are aware of and utilizing accommodation services.
