Flea Market

UPDATE 7/14/21!!!

Starting September 2021, the Flea Market will return to once a month, on the 3rd Saturday.

The Flea Market officially closes at 3:00pm.  At this time, all vendors should close all sales and begin cleaning up.  Vendor spaces should be cleared by 4:00pm.  Violations may result in additional fees or fines.

Flea Market Standby Rules

  • On the day of the Flea Market, Standby vendors can register ONLY from 7:00am to 8:30.

  • We will have limited spaces, first come first serve.

  • The price for Standby is $50 dollars plus $15 dollars late fee which is a total cost of $65 dollars.

  • ONLY form of payment is personal check or Money-Order, NO CASH will be accepted.

  • Every Standby vendor would have access to three parking spots together (9ft x 21ft).

  • If you are resale vendor you MUST bring a copy of your resale license permit on the day of.

We have 300 Vendor Spaces available for lease. Standby reservations (day of the market) are an additional $15.00 for each vending space. Non-Profit (501-C status) organizations are welcome to participate in the market for FREE.

We have it all -- Antiques and Collectibles, Undiscovered Treasures from your neighbor’s garage, Clothing/Footwear and accessories for all occasions, fine jewelry and stones, automotive bargains, gardening tools supplies and plants,
ethnic foods, and local business recruiters -- it’s all here!

Patronize our Flea Market and find the bargains you’ve been seeking! The volume of vendors and customers increases each month!

The Chabot College Flea Market is held the third (3rd) Saturday of each month, rain or shine. Admission is FREE (Parking Lot B only). We are conveniently located in Parking Lot B, at the front of the campus off Hesperian Boulevard - southbound. (Near the 92/San Mateo Bridge and S. Hwy. 880 cross)

Reservation Fees & Guidelines

Reservation Fees: Reservations are accepted as pre-paid up to the close of business the WEDNESDAY before the Scheduled Flea Market. Fees reserve you a vending space.

  • Pre-paid Reservation = $50.00/equals 3 standard size parking spaces
  • Stand-by Space and Day of Reservations = $15.00 additional charge / vending space (Stand-by price applies to all reservations made after the Wednesday during week of the next flea market )
  • Average Size Space: Standard = 12 x 18
  • REFUNDS: No refunds will be given for any reason on the day of the Market.
  • Please note that when mailing in your R.S.V.P. it must reach our office by close on the Wednesday before the market or you will be asked to pay the $15.00 standby fee and asked to get in the standby line to receive a spot.
  • All first-time resale vendors must have a copy of their licenses on file with the staff of Chabot College Flea Market if reservation-application is received through the mail. Attach copies of California Sellers Permit & Hayward City License to the application before mailing back to Chabot College.
  • If your check is returned to us N.S.F, you will no longer be able to write checks to our market.

New Stand-By Policy

Effective for September registration:

  • Stand-by vendors would pay $15 dollars additional charge, this is a flat fee charge for standard spaces.
  • Every vendor must fill out a 6am or 8am stand-by application and make sure to write down their name on the right call order list.
  • Open registration for ALL Open available spaces would start from 8:00AM to 8:45AM.
  • No pre-parking would be allowed at any time inside the Flea Market parking lot (parking lot B).
  • Once a vendor pays for their parking space they’ll be allowed to drive in and park at their designated space.
  • ALL entrances will be closed at 9:00am for all vendors, at this time NO more loading allowed.
  • For any future registrations / reservations will be taken after 9:00AM.
