BMW Manufacture Training

In 2010, Chabot College responded to the increasing demand for programs leading to jobs and career opportunities by joining forces with BMW of North America to train students for the vehicles of tomorrow.

Our BMW Manufacture Training program provides students with the following opportunities: 

  1. Hands-On instruction.
  2. Work in the state-of-the-art, BMW dealership-like environment.
  3. Learn and work with BMW special tools and diagnostic equipment.
  4. Work with current model year BMW vehicles.
  5. Earn up to 6 BMW of North America training certificates.
  6. Be prepared to enter a BMW Dealership with a Level III training status.
  7. Pursue a Certificate of Achievement or Associate in Science Degree in BMW Manufacture Training.
  8. Learn from BMW certified instructors.

How to Enroll

To apply for the Chabot emphasis in BMW training, you'll need to:

  1. Apply to Chabot College.
  2. Make an appointment with Mike Sherburne for an interview and to initiate the process for evaluation, acceptance and enrollment into the BMW Manufacture Training program.
    Email Mike Sherburne at msherburne@chabotcollege.edu to schedule an interview.
    Make sure to bring all the following to your appointment: 
    1. BMW Application Form
    2. Your current DMV Print Out
    3. Your resume
