Performing Arts Center

We are currently accepting requests for performance opportunities through June 30, 2023.

To request a date, please complete the Preliminary Request for Use form and Equipment Checklist below and submit these documents to pacinfo@chabotcollege.edu.

Please note that effective December 21, 2021, the Grand Court and large Amphitheater are not available for use.

Are you interested in working in the theatre or live events industry? The Chabot College Performing Arts Complex is seeking enthusiastic, friendly students to assist with our front of house operations. All training will be provided by the Chabot College PAC Audience Services Technician, so no previous experience is required. Student Assistants will be paid $15 per hour and can work a maximum of 20 hours per week. Please note that most of this work will take place on evenings and weekends, but we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

First opened in 1967, the Performing Arts Center is a 1,432-seat auditorium, which functions as a full featured theater. Our landmark community theater was re-dedicated and renamed on November 3, 2010 to honor our founder, Reed L. Buffington.
