Learning Connection SI Sessions
Supplemental Instruction Sessions
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic support model that uses peer-assisted study sessions to support your learning and success. SI Leaders facilitate regular weekly sessions outside of class where students work collaboratively by discussing readings, comparing notes, working together to predict test items, and sharing ideas for improving class material.
SI Sessions are FREE, and attendance is never required. You can attend as many sessions each week and throughout the semester as you choose. You do not need to sign up in advance - just go to the session being held for your class section!
Spring 2021 SI Sessions are listed below. To join an SI session, enter your Canvas course tile. Scroll down, and "Chabot Tutoring" will appear on the left hand side of the webpage. Click and choose the subject and then, under "Online Meetings," click the drop down arrow to see the open SI session (only available at the times listed below). Click on the room to meet with the SI Leader and your classmates.
Check back in late May for Summer 2021 session information, and in late August for Fall 2021 session information.

Learning Assistant Study Groups
Learning Assistants are embedded tutors who work primarily during class and sometimes outside of class to support your learning and success. Some Learning Assistants hold weekly study groups where they may be reviewing course materials or readings, clarifying assignments, or discussing specific study skills strategies.
Learning Assistant study groups are FREE, and attendance is never required. You can attend as many sessions throughout the semester as you choose. You do not need to sign up in advance - just go to the study group being held for your class section!
