PACE Admission Criteria

Students interested in PACE: 

• Are new to college or are at the beginning of their college career, and have completed no more than 20 units of General education before joining the PACE Program.  
• Have a goal to obtain an Associate’s Degree and/or transfer to a 4-year university for a Bachelor’s Degree. 
• Will attend a PACE Orientation before admission into PACE. 
• Commit to take only PACE classes for your General Education while enrolled in PACE, generally for 4-6 semesters (not including summers). 
• Complete a PACE Application including the essay portion and provide copies of all prior college transcripts.  
• Sign a pledge that you understand these requirements and intend to fulfill them.  
• Meet Chabot College admissions requirements and academic standards.
