Student Orientation and Registration - SOAR

SOAR DAY CANCELLATION

Hello Chabot Students,

We hope this message finds you and your loved ones well given the situations with COVID-19 pandemic. We hope you and your families are doing well during this difficult time. As you know, in response to Alameda County requirements, the campus is closed to face-to-face interactions. Therefore, the in-person Student Orientation & Registration (SOAR) Day scheduled on Saturday, April 25, 2020 has been canceled.

First Semester Planning (FSP) Session
All the First Semester Planning (FSP) sessions for the SOAR day have been suspended until further notice. We are currently exploring options for virtual sessions. Please stay tuned for more information.

We are dedicated to supporting and guiding you through a successful transition by fostering a sense of community and confidence.

The first things for you to do in this transition is continue to complete your SOAR steps.

We understand that shifting away from face-to-face interaction can feel less personal and welcoming, but we assure you that we intend to ensure that you are fully supported and confident as you enter Chabot College. We will provide support in a variety of ways and keep you up-to-date based on information as it becomes available.

If you have any questions, please contact us.
