Automotive Technology

The Automotive Technology Program provides training for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the automotive service industry. We are a ASE accredited program. Our program provides the knowledge and skills needed to become a highly sought after entry level technician. You will learn how to diagnose service and repair an automobile with pride and confidence in our state of the art facility. You will be training side by side with apprentices from local dealerships that use Chabot exclusively to train their technicians. 

Our partnerships with the industry, and ASE Foundation Master Automobile Service Technician Program Accreditation, ensures that as our student, you will receive the learning experiences to prepare you for the ever-changing automotive industry.

From our program, you will gain the skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Advanced Drivers Assistance Systems (ADAS) and New Vehicle Technologies
  • Automotive electronic and electrical systems
  • Fuel and emission systems
  • Engines and engine performance
  • Brake and suspension systems
  • Manual and automatic transmissions and drive lines
  • Air conditioning systems
  • Hybrid, electric and alternative fuels

Our instructors are ASE certified with substantial industry experience.
