Fitness Center

The fitness center offers top of the line weight training equipment, ellipticals, spin bikes and treadmills. These equipments are arranged in a scientifically designed HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)​ circuit system.

HIIT is a highly efficient training method proven to:

  • Increase muscle mass
  • Decrease body fat
  • Develop overall health and wellness

Once the student has completed an initial orientation, they can use the fitness center whenever the room is open. 

Using the Fitness Center

Students can use the fitness center by:

  1. Applying to Chabot.
  2. Registering for one of the "PEAC FUN1 Core Conditioning Abs & Hips" classes.
  3. New students must attend the Orientation on the 1st day of class.
    Be on time for the Orientation. No one will be admitted late!

    Orientation for Fall 2020


    Monday to Thursday: 6am, 7:30am, 9am, 10:30am or 12pm
    Monday and Wednesday: 4:30 pm

    Building 4000, 2nd fl

  4. Bring your student ID card. You can get one at Student Online Services.
  5. Be dressed to workout:
    • Athletic shoes (no sandals or work shoes)
    • T-shirt or long sleeve shirt (no tank tops or sleeveless)
    • Shorts or sweat pants (no jeans or "short" shorts)
    • Small hand towel to wipe down equipment
