WRAC Center tutors are instructor-recommended Chabot College students who have demonstrated strong reading and writing skills.
All tutors are required to enroll and attend a general tutor-training course taught
by the Learning Connection Program Coordinator, as well as a discipline-specific tutor-training
taught by the WRAC Center Coordinator/Discipline Lead, and learn the theory and practices
of peer tutoring. This enables them to successfully assist students with their reading
and writing needs.
