Cross Registration
Chabot College students have the opportunity to take courses through various cross-enrollment programs at nearby transfer institutions. Review the information below and see your counselor for assistance determining appropriate coursework, eligibility requirements, and/or assistance at the Transfer Center or General Counseling in Building 700.
Cross Enrollment with California State University, East Bay
Students who have completed at least one semester at chabot College may be eligible to cross-enroll with CSU East Bay. This is a great opportunity if transferring to CSU East Bay is your top choice.
Students must:
- Have completed at least one semester at Chabot College as a matriculated student
- Have a 2.0 or higher gpa at Chabot College
- Be enrolled in at least 6 units enrolled at Chabot College during the semester you wish to cross-enroll.
- Lower-division courses to be taken at CSU East Bay cannot be offered at anytime by Chabot College. Partner with and consult with your counselor on possible Course Recommendations

Cross Enrollment with University of California, Berkeley
Students who have completed at least one semester at Chabot College may be eligible to cross-enroll at UC Berkeley. This is a great opportunity if transferring to UC Berkeley is your top choice.
Students must:
- Have completed at least one semester at Chabot College as a matriculated student
- Have a 2.0 or higher gpa at Chabot College (3.0 recommended for a 12 units load)
- Be enrolled in 12 units (full-time student) with at least 6 units enrolled at Chabot College during the semester you wish to cross-enroll
- Have no outstanding balance with Chabot College
