Welcome to Chabot's New Entrepreneurship Program!
Chabot is proud to announce the beginning of a new series of courses and
six
new certificates in Entrepreneurship. These courses and certificates will
provide you with the skills you need to start and succeed in a new business.
Four New Entrepreneurship Courses
Our program includes four classes: Introduction to
Entrepreneurship, Evaluating New Business Opportunities, Marketing for
Entrepreneurs, and The Business Plan. Next year, we plan to
introduce ENTR-40, Business Incubation and Launch. We also strongly encourage students
to complete Business Communications (BUS-14), and to consider taking the
Psychology of Innovation and Creativity. In these courses, you'll learn
the skills and explore the attributes of successful entrepreneurs, understand
how to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, develop the important
financial and marketing skills needed to succeed as a new business, and create a
professional business plan to guide your business startup and help you to secure
funding.
All classes are offered online to fit
your busy schedules.

Coming Soon: New Entrepreneurship AS Degree
For students interested in developing more in-depth business and
entrepreneurship skills, we will begin offering a new
Entrepreneurship AS Degree once it is approved by the state.
