Important Information for Financial Aid Applicants
You don't have to wait in line to check on your file status or eligibility! Some alternatives to obtain your financial
aid status:
- Many Financial Aid questions can be answered on the new CLASS-Web Financial Aid site (what documents are
needed in order to process your file, holds, academic progress status, your
eligibility for financial aid, and your award types and amounts.) Use
your User ID & PIN to log in to CLASS-Web.
- Chabot Financial Aid FAQ phone line - Call (510)723-6746
for answers to many of your financial aid questions.
- If you visit the Financial Aid Office after hours and only
need to turn in documents, you may use the lock-box located outside the office.
Be sure your documents are properly filled out, signed, and dated, or they will not be processed.
This is the most frequent cause for delays in processing your financial aid file
to determine your eligibility. (The Chabot College Title IV school code is 001162.)
To turn in completed verification documents, or discuss your financial aid eligibility,
please visit our office during posted office hours so we may provide guidance and advisement to you.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for processing of your incoming paperwork, based on the time of year submitted.
