About
The Chabot College choral and vocal program is committed to providing students with exceptional vocal training, exposure to a wide variety of repertoire, and frequent opportunities for collaboration and performance both on- and off-campus. Students can participate in vocal studies in multiple ways, through private lessons, group voice instruction, and choral ensembles.
All Chabot students are invited to participate in choir. For students interested in majoring in music as a singer, they should arrange an audition with the Director of Choral and Vocal Studies. Students working toward transferring to a CSU or UC program should take four semesters of applied voice instruction and choir, alongside music theory and all other general education requirements.
The choral and vocal area produces numerous events and performances each semester. For more information, please check out all the Events page on the music department website.
