This website has a wealth of financial aid information and resources for you! We hope that you explore all the tabs, download forms required for your financial aid processing, and navigate the exterior links to gain more information.
If you are a Chabot Student, you don't have to wait in line to check on your file status or eligibility! Some alternatives to obtain your financial aid status are:
CLASS-Web: Many Financial Aid questions can be answered on the new CLASS-Web Financial Aid site (what documents are needed in order to process your file, holds, academic progress status, your eligibility for financial aid, and your award types and amounts.) Use your User ID & PIN to log in to CLASS-Web.
If you visit the Financial Aid Office after hours and only need to turn in documents, you may use the lock-box located outside the office. Be sure your documents are properly filled out, signed, and dated, or they will not be processed. This is the most frequent cause for delays in processing your financial aid file to determine your eligibility. (The Chabot College Title IV school code is 001162.)
If you have general questions about financial aid that you hope to have answered, you may also call our Financial Aid Office Info Line at (510) 723-6746
To turn in completed verification documents, or discuss your financial aid eligibility, please visit our office during posted office hours so we may provide guidance and advisement to you. Please allow 2-4 weeks for processing of your incoming paperwork, based on the time of year submitted.
If you click under "Financial Aid Outreach and Events" you will be able to view our calendar, which has an array of Chabot campus and community events. These events will be filled with opportunities for you to learn about Financial Aid, Apply for Financial Aid, Apply for Scholarships, interact with Financial Aid Staff and Chabot Campus Staff. You may need to register for some of our events. We invite you to look at our calendar and mark yours!
If you are a prospective student, teacher or parent who wants to learn more about Financial Aid, we participate in various outreach campaigns like the "Cash for College" and "I can Afford College" initiatives. Most of these events will be at chigh schools, college fairs, and other venues. We invite you to take advantage of the resources and learning experiences when we come to your community! Most events encourage participants to pre-register, but do not require to do so. Links will be available here in this website.
Our office is here to serve you! If you have questions about your Financial Aid Status, need assistance with completing your Financial Aid documents, or your verification process while at Chabot, please make sure you come during our office hours.
